Story
Bonjour! I’m Marco, hailing from Rockland County, NY. My journey in design began with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Arts & Design from the now-renamed Mercy University, previously Mercy College, where I studied Graphic Design.
My passion for design took a transformative turn during an inspiring internship at Diesel, known for their daring ‘Be Stupid‘ Campaign. This experience fueled my interest in taking risks, which eventually led me to explore the world of User Experience Design. Back in 2019, I embarked on a User Experience Design course at General Assembly, intrigued by the industry’s shift as many were improperly adopting the title ‘UX Designer’ without grasping its essence. My goal was to integrate the principles of discovery and user research into my creative design process, appreciating that a perfect user interface marries aesthetics with exceptional functionality.
Today, I firmly believe that design should not only look good but also deliver a seamless user experience. I currently reside in Jersey City, NJ, where my passions extend beyond design. When I’m not fine-tuning creative assets, you can find me indulging in my love for cars, perfecting my skills on the pool table, and exploring new horizons with friends.
